The Opera Shack collaborated with Olympias Music Foundation on an adaptation of Humperdink’s ‘Hansel and Gretel’ with Women’s Voices: a charitable organisation which supports women refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable women to achieve empowerment equality and inclusion in Greater Manchester. Featuring soprano Rachel Routledge and mezzo Phoebe Rayner from the Royal Northern College of Music, we performed a selection of scenes from Hansel and Gretel at The Edge Theatre in Manchester.
